Additional Notes from MYPG:
After closing at 8127.48 points (12.40% YTD) last April 10, 2015, the PSEi finally encountered the major correction that many were anticipating for several weeks now. It started with the index going down by 0.67% last April 13, then on April 15, the index suffered a 1.86% drop, the highest single day drop since December. The week ended with the index falling below the 8000 level (7946.89 to be exact), down by 2.26% as compared to the April 10 closing.
Yesterday, April 20, the index dropped again by 1.03%. Many are probably fearing that the bull run is coming to an end. But if this is any good news, based on the technical indicators I'm checking, the index has a high chance of having a technical bounce today. The Dow closing 205.96 points up (1.17%) can certainly help the cause of the index. Let's hope that the index finally recorvers later, otherwise, we need to prepare for another dive.
