Top 10 Equity UITFs in the Philippines (as of February 6, 2015)

For the week of February 2 to 6, despite of the PSE index (PSEi) dropping by 76.76 points for the first two trading days, the index has managed to climb up again and eventually close at a new high of 7728.18 points, equivalent to 6.88% year-to-date. This spells good news for equity UITF holders since equity UITFs track the PSEi performance (in general, equity funds are invested in stocks belonging to the PSE index). The PSEi did so well that only one equity UITF managed to outperform it, and it is none other than the best equity UITF as of February 6, 2015, BPI Philippine High Dividend Equity Fund.

Here is the Top 10 Equity UITFs as of February 6, 2015.

Dropping out of the Top 10 this week is BPI's Odyssey Philippine Equity Fund (previously ranked 8th) and returning to the Top 10, in 10th place, is UnionBank's Dividend Play Equity Portfolio (previously ranked 14th).

Please refer to the following table for the complete list of Equity UITFs that I am monitoring.
